I added a handsewn lining inside the tote. 🧵💕
I didn’t add the lining just to make the inside look prettier, although I have to admit, I do love that extra finished look!
I added it because I wanted to give the crochet fabric additional support and help protect the bag from everyday wear, with the goal of prolonging its lifespan.
And yes, the lining is handsewn too.
Because apparently crocheting the whole bag wasn’t enough work. 😂🧶
But I really enjoy these little finishing touches. They may not always be the first thing you notice, but they’re part of what makes a handmade piece feel thoughtfully made.
