Last week I sat down with 3 colors of yarn, a crochet hook, and zero plans. I just wanted to make a flower. A simple, 3-layer crochet flower to practice my stitches.
Dusty pink center. Peach petals. Deep burgundy edges.
It looked perfect in my palm.
But as I go around the third round it became uneven and wobbly…
Round 1: The Center. Tiny dusty pink bud.
Nothing fancy, just a round of double crochet clusters.
Round 2: Peach Layer. I was going for a full, fluffy petals.
Round 3: Burgundy edges. Didn’t realize a clusters of double crochets with a picot could make something else…
