It’s pouring outside.
The kind of rain that makes everything quiet and slow. I made myself a cup of coffee, sat by the window, and let my mind wander to next month’s theme.
Ideas came flooding in.
New colors. New patterns. New things to make. My head was full of sketches and to-do lists before I even took my first sip.
But then the cold breeze slipped in through the window.
And the warmth of the mug in my hands reminded me to pause.
That’s when I saw it — this coaster I made.

A simple daisy in cream and brown, with a bright green border. Nothing fancy. I made it weeks ago just to protect my desk. But today it felt like more than that.
It reminded me that not every idea has to be big right away.
Sometimes it starts small.
With one stitch. One circle. One useful thing that makes a rainy day feel a little cozier.
So today I’m putting the big plans aside for a bit.
I’m going to finish my coffee, listen to the rain, and make one more coaster.
Because some days, the best inspiration isn’t a new theme.
It’s what’s already in front of you.
What’s keeping you cozy today? ☕
